Three steps to have a great and successful week
The success of your week begins with your understanding of what to do before the week begins.Those who know what to do can easily get better result than those who don’t know.The good thing is what make others have success weeks is revealed to you in this article and if you do the same,you shall enjoy your week without failure;
1)Have the complete picture for the whole week
In his book of Seven Habits of highly effective people;Steven Covey says they all start with end from the beginning.Never jump in starting your week without identifying what are the major things you would want to accomplish in this week.Take time and ask yourself;if i would be told that if i abuse this week i will never be given more time to live,what are the best things would i want to accomplish?
The answer to this question highlights your priorities.Note down in details what are your major goals this week.The more clear they are;the more easily will be to achieve them and the easier will it be to monitor and evaluate them.WHAT DO YOU WANT TO ACHIEVE THIS WEEK?
2)Determine important things to be done each day.
As Chinese proverb says;the journey of thousand miles start with one step.Your weekly goals are hidden in your effective way of making everyday a productive day.Take your piece of paper and a pen now;List down the days from Monday to Sunday and beside each day list the major things that you want to achieve.Keep the copy with you and in the beginning of each day start with these listed item;to your surprise you will achieve more in this week than any week before.The list will keep you focused ensure that your energy is always directed to what is important.
3)Decide to be Joyful in all situations.
Joseph Campbbell said -“Find a place inside where there’s joy, and the joy will burn out the pain”.
The more joyful you are,the more strong you become.The good thing is being joyful is the decision you have to make.Those who allow circumstances and other people to determine their joy,they can never be great in life.Decide that you are the one who determines your own joy.Never focus on what gives you pain,but rather in what infuses joy in you.
In life 10% is what happens to us and 90% depends on our reactions.Each morning say to yourself..”I will never allow any person or any situation to dictate my joy and to determine when i should laugh”
The more joyful you are the more creative you become and the more you are likable to other people.
